Screen Shot 2013-06-28 at 8.45.41 AMFor the past few weeks I’ve been working on a new website that has most of the functionality I’ve longed for. It’s now up and going! The address is still the same: There’s a lot of new art, so it’s worth a visit. I’ve also begun setting up a Facebook page for my artwork. Here’s the address:

New Painting

November 3, 2009

StackedHere’s a painting I recently finished. It was kind of an exercise in simplicity for me. My mind always has so much going on that my painting can get…mmm…complicated. Prints of my new pieces will be available on my website in a few weeks.

Cape Kiwanda 2009

July 28, 2009

kiwanda09aHere’s what the original artwork looks like for the upcoming Cape Kiwanda Longboard Contest here in Oregon. I made a limited edition poster from it for the event. If they don’t sell out at the event they will be for sale on my website after the weekend. I will be there Saturday and Sunday selling them, plus I will have other prints and some originals as well.

The Portland, Oregon Chapter of the Surfrider Foundation along with Wend Magazine are having a benefit art show at Lizard Lounge, 1323 NW Irving Street, for Surfrider’s ongoing programs to benefit our oceans and the Ban the Bag campaign. I will have several canvas prints for sale as part of the benefit show.

The show from 7-10 p.m. will feature various regional surf artists, music by the very talented, Jay Nash and lots of beer courtesy of Widmer Brothers Brewery. Come on down, grab a drink, peep some art, check out the live band, and show your support for Mother Ocean.

Benefit: 15% of all event proceeds go to The Surfrider Foundation

Bonus: 20% off all regular price merchandise from 7-10pm. (not to be combined with other offers)

Busy, Busy

May 5, 2009

My poor blog has been neglected lately. I’ve been busy with freelance, commissions, and well…surfing. I hope to post a new piece soon, which will also be available through my website Art and Surf. If you are headed to the Clean Water Classic, stop by and say hi at my booth. I will be displaying and selling art at the event. Above is a portion of a piece I am currently working on.
