I’ve been asked to make a painting that will show off our local area. There is one place in particular that has captivated me for two decades now. Starting this morning I’m going to recreate this scene in an oil painting. It’s for a mural project with Signatures Gallery. I’m going to make the painting, and they’re going to reproduce it in a mural.

Today I finished one third of a new piece that I am shipping off to a group show at Art Whino in D.C. It’s been a fun project so far. I am a bit under the gun to finish it up, so I better get back to painting. For more information, click on these postcard links: front and back
